Ciao Bella is so right , so fitting. She was a beautiful person in many ways. I met her the day she came to Italy and our families became good friends. Noah stayed with us the day she gave birth to Levi. She was so very excited and happy to be a Mother of two. We enjoyed many Italian adventures and a great friendship. We kept in touch from time to time over the years and her beautiful personality will be missed by many. But her spirt will live on.
Doni, I cant even start to think of all the memories we have shared, theres been so many. From when we started working together and then coming to your house everynight during my pregnancy (you said you would be my baby daddy lol.) You feed me, took care of me, laughed with me, and cried with me. I introduced you to the love of your live Nebraska aka Zac (yes Im taking credit) You were in such a good place so happy and BEAUTIFUL as always. My life will never be the same without you in it but its so much better since you shared apart of it. You will be Truely missed more then you will every no.
Thank you to Jason and Kinsey for creating this beautiful website in memory of our sister. Its still hard for me to express my thoughts this early but Doni was so special in so many ways and BEAUTIFUL in every way. Its difficult for me to speak of her in past tense. I love you Doni, you have your Angel wings now.
We are so sorry to hear of your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help.
It’s so difficult to find words to describe how I feel about Doni, could write a book and just scratch the surface. I miss her so much and will to my last day. She was an angel before she left us. I thank all who have expressed condolences to our family, we really appreciate it. She would too. If you knew her, you know that and if you didn’t know her I am sorry for YOUR loss, for she is a wonderful example of humanity and the best of us. Please remember her essence, her love and laughs, her personality, and enrich your life with it. We will. her brother, Randy
I am so sorry for your loss, Doni was a wonderful and beautiful person! She will be dearly missed by everyone she knew. I am here for you if you need someone to talk to, or just someone to keep you company. I am trying to make it to the service tomorrow. RIP Doni ♥
I got to know Doni through our mututal friendship with Ginger and Emily Clark. I remember her as a fun and happy person. I can imagine the indescribeable sadness you all must be feeling as I’ve recently lost my younger brother. I’ll pray for your family that you will feel comfort. I know that through the prayers of our friends and family I have felt comfort in the love of our Savior. Love, Emily
I met Doniann many years ago in San Diego at Sears. We worked together in the Fine Jewelery dept. for 3-4 years. We become very good friends and she was one of my bridesmaids in my wedding and very important part of my life. She is one of the kindest and honest people I have ever met. She had a beauty that came from the inside out. There are so many things I could say about her, but this has all happened so suddendly I can’t even sort my thoughts. I remember her kindness, her genuine personality and her loving nature. She was one in 100 million. A friend you could trust and count on. Never had a bad word to say about a person and always there if you needed her. I remember one year at Sears, we all dressed up and she was Cinderella. So beautiful, but she didn’t see that, she was just herself. Another time my husband, Jim, and I took her to Carlsbad, CA at sunset over looking the ocean and she came to tears because of how beautiful it was. Especially when she saw the dolphines in the distance. She appreciated the simple things in life and saw the good first. I will sorrowfully miss her and know that I have lost a true friend. She was a friend for life, not just a season. I take refuge in knowing that I will see her again someday with the Lord. God bless her and her whole family. She was a ray of sunshine in this world of darkness we live in. I miss my friend.
I met Doni at work and knew that there was something incredibly special about her. She was smart, sweet, likeable and just did not have any reason not to like her.
Then this happens….Now I know, she was meant to be an angel all along. Some of us are so special God knows she has impacted many lives for the better at her young age and it was her time. This is incredibly hard to imagine she is gone from our lives, but comfort knowing I will see her again…in heaven. May God bless and comfort her family.
Thank you to everyone for all of your prayers and support for our family. It really means a lot to us.
To Doni: I love you so much sista. Thank you for being my sister. I will always remember our day in Venice together. It was a magical day and I still have the scarf you bought me, now I have your scarf too. Remember the restaurant we ate at for dinner? The little old man with the huge nose and the accordion singing thats amore, thats my favorite memory of us. I will never forget.
Don’t worry about your boys, we’ll make sure they grow up right and always remember their momma. I love you to the end of the earth and back DonDon. Nothing will ever change that.
At times like these there isn’t much that anyone can say but many thoughts go out to your and your family in sympathy today and in the days to come. As you take each day one step at a time, Almighty God is there to help you and your family the rest of the way.-Isa.41:13. Seashells remind us that every passing life leaves something beautiful behind.
